GENIUS AND WUNDERKIND WOLFGANG AMADEI MOZART

Mozart managed to conquer all the musical heights that were available at the time, but this did not bring him success in life. Unfortunately, only a few contemporaries could appreciate the depth of his talent, and he was worthy of the highest degree of glory.

Perhaps the genius was unlucky with the era in which he lived, but who knows, we would now enjoy his works, if he were born at another time or in another place.

Little talent
The future musical prodigy was born in the family of assistant conductor Leopold Mozart and his wife Anna Maria on January 27, 1756 in Salzburg. Mother could not recover for a long time after giving birth, the birth of her son almost cost her her life. The next day, the boy was baptized and named Johann Chrysostom Wolfgang Teofil. The couple of Mozarts had seven children, but five died in early childhood, the older sister Maria Anna and Wolfgang remained.

Mozart’s father was a talented musician and an excellent teacher, whose work for many years were teaching aids. The extraordinary composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozartmusky abilities began to show his daughter. The father’s and the sister’s classes on the clavier were incredibly interested in the three-year-old Wolfgang – he could sit for hours and pick up the third on the instrument, taking pleasure in finding the right harmonies. A year later, Leopold began to learn small plays with his son, and then he himself began to compose short melodies, but the child could not write down his efforts in a note book.

At first, Wolfgang asked his father to write down his works, and once he himself tried to convey the written music with notes that were mixed up with blots. The father discovered these samples of the pen and inquired what the child had depicted. The boy confidently stated that this is a concerto for clavier. Leopold was surprised to find notes among the inkblots of the note and was delighted when he realized that his son correctly and according to the rules wrote down the invented music. My father praised his child, but said that it was almost impossible to perform such a difficult piece. The boy objected, noting that you need to exercise well, then everything will come out. After some time he managed to play this concert.

The first tour of Wolfgang Mozart
The children of Mozart’s father were unusually talented, so Leopold tried to demonstrate this to the world. He organized a real European tour at the beginning of 1762, composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart during which the family visited the capitals and major cities, where children played even in front of the highest public – the emperors and dukes. Little Wolfgang seemed to be in a fairy tale – he visited receptions in palaces and social salons, talked to prominent people of his era, gained praise and invariably heard a storm of applause in his address. But this required daily labor from the child, not every adult could withstand such a busy schedule.

Wonder Boy, in the opinion of those before whom he played, impeccably played the most complicated pieces and improvised for hours on end, observing the strict rules of art. His knowledge was higher than that of many experienced musicians.

Despite the rotation in the circles of nobles, Wolfgang Mozart retained children’s spontaneity, openness and lightness. He did not write morose music and was not a closed genius. There are a lot of funny stories and curious cases associated with it.

Miracle of the XVIII century
In London, the Mozarts lived for over a year, where Wolfgang met Bach’s son, Johann Christian, with whom he improvised and played the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart four hands. Then the family spent almost another year in different cities of the Netherlands. During this period, the musical treasury of Mozart was replenished with a symphony, six sonatas and a capriccio collection.

The program of his speeches always amazed listeners with complexity and diversity. His virtuoso playing the violin, the harpsichord and organ fascinated the audience, who nicknamed the boy “The Miracle of the Century”. Then he really conquered Europe. After a long and exhausting journey, the family in 1766 returned to their native Salzburg.

His father did not let Wolfgang relax and began to intensively engage with him in composition and rehearsal of concert programs, so that with new performances composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart reinforced their success. He wanted to make his son not only famous, but also well-off, so that he would not depend on the whims of powerful people.

Mozart began to receive orders for works. For the Viennese theater, he wrote The Imaginary Simple, having successfully mastered the new complex genre. But for some reason the comic opera was not staged on the stage. This failure Wolfgang experienced very hard.

These were the first manifestations of the ill will of rivals to his 12-year-old colleague, because now he was not just a miracle child, but a serious and famous composer. In the light of his glory it was easy to fade.

Young Academician Wolfgang Mozart
Then Leopold decided to take his son to the homeland of operas – in Italy. Three years young Mozart applauded Milan, Florence, Rome, Venice and Naples. His performances gathered huge crowds of fans.
